Qualis Engineering specialises in 3D scanning and modelling services.

Using the latest optical metrology equipment we are capable of taking a highly accurate digitised model of any component.

Our optical metrology equipment is portable, capable of 0.030mm accuracy and uses dynamic referencing and positioning. This means the equipment is unaffected by vibration or movement and actively monitors temperature, enabling us to provide metrology accuracy in the most challenging of environments.

With a highly accurate 3D digitized model, we are then able to perform inspection processes, part to CAD comparisons, part to part comparisons and some NDT processes.

Or we can convert features into native CAD entities to create a fully editable CAD model for a huge range of purposes including:

modification
re-manufacturing
tooling or fixturing
prototyping
interference or finite element analysis
deformation simulation
correlation of simulation models to component behaviour
